This Thanksgiving, what are we thankful for?

November 17th, 2010

To me Thanksgiving is a time of reflections and to count our many blessings. I am most thankful to God, family, friends, good health and my job. There is nothing sweeter than the smells of our Thanksgiving dinner, the sharing of our family and friends. Fall is such a wonderful time of year, the crisp air and the beautiful changes of color in our land. This brings renewal to the spirit of life. Here at Wilson Orthodontics we are particularly thankful for our wonderful and dedicated patients. You are a blessing to our office of employees. We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, a safe and healthy holiday.

This year brings new additions to our family and office. Dr. and Mrs. Wilson welcome their brand new baby daughter, Lilly-Kate! She is absolutely beautiful and such a joyous blessing to our family. Secondly we have renovated our office with a new waiting room area, web cafe and charity spa along with many other surprises. The changes can be viewed on our website at www.WilsonBraces.com. It is Awesome! We are very proud of our new additions and invite you to visit with us.

Finally, but not least we welcome our newest employee, Debbie Brown! Debbie will be our new patient coordinator and will enjoy working in her new surroundings. We offer the latest technology in our new patient rooms. Dr. Wilson and Debbie will enjoy meeting you and making your new patient visit pleasant and informative.

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving,

Linda Boss and the entire Wilson Orthodontics team

What Makes The Gainesville Community Special?

September 24th, 2010

Every city, town, and neighborhood is special with its own personality, created by the people and places living within. Gainesville is no exception, partly because we have Dr. Ron D. Wilson, our hometown orthodontist making a difference with orthodontics for children, teens and adults! Gainesville also has several places that help to make our community stand out.

For example, In 1996, Gainesville had the honor of being chosen for the World Olympic Canoe and Kayaking event held on Lake Lanier at Clarks Bridge. Everything that was built for the special event is still there and it is still used for special events. People come from other cities to many of the parks on Lake Lanier to have a picnic, water sports and just to spend time with their families. Finally, places to eat, shop, and plan a special an event are just a few of aspects of the Gainesville Community that make us special and unique. If you want to experience something different, visit our community! I can assure you, you will not regret it.

Recognizing Our Patient Communication Coordinator, Mrs. Tracey Taylor

September 17th, 2010

We truly feel blessed for the great team environment that our office has. Our staff is amazing to work with! Everyone plays a huge part in how the office runs day by day but there is one person in particular,  that is always on top of everything from the front office to the clinic. That person is Mrs. Tracey Taylor!  Tracey has over 20 years of experience and takes part in everything in the office from greeting patients when they arrive, working in the clinic, or helping to promote our office in her personal time.

She is a wonderful person and we would like to give a special thanks to Tracy for all of her hard work!
